有松絞りの職人技
名古屋有松にて絞り文化を守り継ぐ、竹田嘉兵衛商店さんの有松絞り てぬぐい 豆絞りです。
「有松絞り」は、およそ400年の歴史を誇る伝統工芸で、もともとは大名のお土産などとして珍重され、その後、東海道の旅人の街道一の名産品となりました。
絞りの種類によって職人さんが分かれている、熟練の技術を要する「有松絞り」。絞りや染めの具合によって模様が少しずつ変わるため、世界にひとつだけの様々な表情の柄を楽しんでいただけます。
「豆絞り」は、豆粒のような小さい丸が、一つ一つ違った大きさでたくさん並んだ伝統的な絞り文様。豆を入れてくくるのが元だったそうですが、現在は独創的な板締式の手法で絞られている技法です。
縦約95センチ、横約33センチ。いろいろな使い方ができる手ぬぐいは、何枚あっても助かります。
ご自宅用としてはもちろん、お世話になった方や大切な方への贈り物としてもおすすめです。

※手ぬぐいの端は『切りっぱなし』です。手ぬぐい元来の仕様で、濡れても早く乾くように端の処理は縫製しないままの状態になっています。洗濯するにつれ、ほつれは止まってまいります。不良品ではございません。
※手染めのため色落ちがあります。洗濯の際は他のものと分けて手洗いしてください。水分を含むと色移りすることがあります。濡れたままでの放置はおやめください。
