創業は1929年。福岡県古賀市に工房を構える増田桐箱店は、博多人形や三味線などの伝統工芸品の桐箱作りから始まりました。
茶道具、食品、雑貨用など多岐に渡る桐箱の製造技術を培い、現在は伝統的な桐箱に加え、若いユーザーにも桐の魅力を伝えるべく自社オリジナルの桐の米櫃など、現代のライフスタイルにあった商品を手掛け注目を集めています。
桐原木を豊富に揃え吟味を重ねた材料に、伝統の技術を生かして、高級お茶道具箱から贈答用の安価な箱までフルライン体制で製造しています。
